💳 Deposit and Payment

• A non refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.
• The deposit is deducted from the total fee.
• Full payment is due 7 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By paying your invoice you agree to enter into a contractual agreement with Twisty Business. We agree to provide the entertainment services outlined in your booking confirmation.

🎪 Arrival and Performance

• The Artist/s will arrive approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up so entertainment can begin on time.
• The Artist will perform for the agreed duration stated in your booking confirmation.
• To ensure the entertainment finishes on time, the Artist will close the line shortly before the scheduled finish time, allowing enough time to complete those already allocated a number.
• Any extension of performance time is subject to availability and additional charges.

If the Artist is running late, your nominated contact person will be notified. Where possible, time will be made up at the end of the booking. If this is not possible, a partial refund will be offered in writing after the event.

📅 Cancellations and Rescheduling

If the Client cancels:

• More than 7 days before the event, 25% of the total booking fee is payable.
• Within 7 days of the event, 50% of the total booking fee is payable.
• The deposit remains non refundable.

If Twisty Business cancels at any time, a full refund will be provided.

Rescheduling requests must be made in writing and are subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.

🚗 Travel and Parking

If the event is outside the Artist’s local area (up to 20km from Bondi or Adamstown) the Client agrees to cover reasonable travel and accommodation expenses where required.

The Client must provide suitable parking if no free street or public parking is available.

🌦 Weather, Shade and Working Conditions

The Client must provide a safe and suitable working environment for both the Artist/s and attending children, including:

• Full shelter in the event of rain
• Adequate shade to ensure comfort and safety of the children and Artist/s
• Protection from excessive heat, cold or strong wind
• A stable, flat surface for equipment

If, in the Artist’s reasonable opinion, conditions pose a risk to health or safety, services may be paused, relocated or ceased until suitable conditions are provided.

In the event of unsafe working conditions including verbal abuse, threats, physical aggression, inappropriate touching, deliberate damage to equipment, illegal activity or dangerous behaviour, the Artist reserves the right to cease services immediately and leave the premises. Police may be notified if required. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.

🎨 Face Painting Safety

For hygiene and insurance reasons:

• Children under 3 years of age cannot receive face painting. At the discretion of their consenting adult, they may receive arm or leg painting instead.
• The Artist cannot paint anyone presenting with symptoms of illness or with open or infected skin.

If face painting is booked, the Client must provide 2x adult sized chairs.

🎈 Balloons

Balloons supplied are made from natural latex and biodegrade at a similar rate to wood chips.

The Artist will endeavour to remove obvious broken balloon pieces at the end of the booking. Ongoing supervision of children with balloons remains the responsibility of parents or guardians.

Parents and guardians are responsible for disclosing any known allergies and ensuring that participating children are not allergic to latex, face paints or related materials prior to receiving services.

📸 Promotional Use

Twisty Business may take photographs or short videos at events for promotional purposes.

If you do not consent to images being used, you must notify us in writing prior to the event.

⚖️ Liability

Twisty Business holds Public Liability Insurance and can provide a copy upon request.

To the extent permitted under New South Wales law, Twisty Business is not liable for loss, damage or injury arising at the event except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

The Client is responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision of children at all times.

🌪 Force Majeure

Neither party will be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, serious illness, government restrictions or other unforeseeable events.
